Cyrsis will work on XP as long as you meet the minimum requirements. So the answer is NO. Crysis cannot be played on any computers. IT cannot be played on budget pcs. Especially laptops under 1300 dollars. because these laptops and other computers video cards are too weak.
You need to check out your video card. The most important requirents for a video game is the Video Card, then the processor and the RAM.
Video Card is the most important. It can compesate for the Computer processor . But nothing can replace the RAM.
The graphics on the XP will not be as good as the Vista's because the vista is more advanced. It supports Direct X 10 which is a video graphics managment software that is more advanced than the Xbox360's version which is in essense a primative version of the vistas version. however mainstream computers have not caught up with the Xbox360's hardware. Thats why many PC users complain how slow vista is.
Aside from that. I am not sure if the 360 controller will work on crysis. because the game is not designed for the X360 or the PS3.
But what i know for sure is that X360 controller will work on a PC with windows XP SP2 or later.
